Who We Are

Join us at our beautiful studio in a serene garden setting and feel right at home.

Knit or crochet with us, join our workshops and squish some yarn.

We stock a wide variety of Natural South African yarns from the likes of ColourSpun, Nurturing Fibres, Cowgirlblues, Knotty Habit and many others. We also stock the well-known Scheepjes, from Holland. A selection of needles, hooks and notions for every skill level, add to our beautiful shelves

We’re not only passionate about yarn. We are also involved in many charity initiatives, including Knitted Knockers, which are breast prostheses for mastectomy patients. Buy your kit from us, join us when we craft our next round or find out how to make your contribution.

Classes are small and hands-on, and because of us having 4 teaching rooms, we can accommodate more than 1 class at a time and we can loan out rooms to visiting teachers.

We don’t only sell yarn. We are also involved in projects that give back.

Knitted Knockers are hand-knitted/crocheted breast prostheses for women who have undergone mastectomies or similar breast procedures. Knitted Knockers by ColourSpun are made from the softest, gentlest chemical free cotton so that the sensitive skin and scars are not irritated.
